COVID-19 STATEMENT

30 Mar, 2020 | Return|

SoftFinança has been closely following the evolution of the new Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), always placing the safety and well-being of its employees and customers as its main priority.

On March 2nd, SoftFinança implemented a set of preventive measures against the outbreak of COVID-19 in presence, including the cancellation of any trips abroad and the drastic reduction of meetings.

In view of the evolution of the situation, following the guidelines of the authorities and seeking to implement the best known practices, SoftFinança took an additional set of measures with the objective of minimizing the possible incidence of the virus in the company, as well as responding to the operational difficulties arising from the pandemic , thus restricting the potential consequences for employees, customers and society in general. Among these measures we highlight the following:

  1. Reinforcement of hygienic prevention in offices;
  2. Segregation of teams;
  3. Telecommuting.

Thus, and in effect since last Monday, March 16, most of its employees have started teleworking, in accordance with agreements already established with their clients and in articulation with the safety and business continuity policies of each one.

Until the end of the alert state decreed by the Portuguese government, all meetings in the company with external persons will be cancelled, except in very exceptional situations and with the guarantee of essential protective measures.

Remote communication tools will be adopted preferably and alternatively (email, telephone, Skype, WhatsApp, Teams, …).

SoftFinança's Board will remain attentive to the evolution of the situation, following the guidelines of the authorities and adopting measures that, however, may be indicated for this purpose.
